Fuel pump power wire location? 92 rs 305 tbi
1992 camaro rs 305 tbi originally now 350 tbi. Anyone know which color the wires are that run from the ecm to the fuel pump relay and which wire is direct power to the fuel pump on this year ? Thanks in advance. Having trouble making sense of the diagrams

You should have 3 wires coming through the bulkhead right above the rear end.
Purple=Fuel Sending
Black=Ground
Grey=Power

First what is your goal of removing the ECM? That is what controls your distributor and other things. The starter is engaged by the C100 bulkhead that is on the drivers side under the hood on the fire wall. That has power regardless of the ECU being in the car or not.

So my car is an LS swap with a standalone holley system. I removed most of the wiring harness under the hood. If you look at the C100 connector, there are two sections coming out of the firewall. One section of wires is smaller and you definitely need to keep all of those in tact. For the larger side, you can remove some of that and remove your ECU but you need to find a pinout and make sure that you keep some of those wires. You'll need them for the alternator, starter, tach/gauges, air bags, and a few other things. There are pinouts around here somewhere that you'll want to study before tackling the job.

I recently accomplished this whole project this wintertime, and I put a holley sniper unit in. I eliminated the ECm completely and all of the wiring that went/to from it. I kept the C100 and re-wired stuff for the fuel pump, alternator, temperature (gauge) sending unit, oil pressure sensor, etc. I run a MSD digital 6 CD box along withe the sniper ecu to control timing and spark.
I asked questions, (do a search for two of my "build" threads under my username from this past winter) I learned a lot and posted photos.
ALSO, a big help was when i did the research on this forum under the topic of "TPI to Carb swap' and "installing carburetor, what wires do i need to keep". TONS of people have done this, and the info is out there already. I know fitech and holley sniper are not carbs, but the threads will tell you what wires you need to keep, and what wires/components can be removed

The sniper is a great deal for the money.

Re: Fuel pump power wire location? 92 rs 305 tbi
if you are talking to me (and not the OP), I am using both. I am working with a Tuner (remotely in Texas, I am in Nj) Mad Science Motorsports and he has a process of revising the base tune he created over about 5 or 6 tunes. starting with cold starts, idle, low throttle, hot restarts. then refining those and moving into mid rpm stuff. now we are on to WOT stuff. ERach time he has me do a specific series of driving/datalogs and I send them to him. I have spend a lot of time trying to self-teach myself the holley software and how to look at datalogs, GCF's, learn values, and stuff. its really really freakin cool. I wont ever look at cars/fuel injection the same way again. Super glad I went with the holley sniper. so eventually whne this tune gets dialed in and the car is running well, we are going to take that tune file and make a few versions of it, one specific for long easy cruises and mpg, one for all out drag racing, and so forth. this upcoming winter when I put the 200 wet shot of nitrous on it we will create nitrous tunes and so forth. I don't have a laptop to connect to the holley sniper handheld, so I usually just save my files to its SD card, and then bring the SD card inside to my desktop where I have the holley sniper software program. I am keepign a 3-ring biner of notes, tune info, tech info specifically pertaining to Holley Sniper EFi tuning so I can help teach myself as best as I can.
