'86 Trans Am with running issues and a possible bad ecm???
I have a '86 Trans Am with a 305 tpi and it always starts up however, it has days where it runs fine and days where it runs like ****. When your coming up to a red light and braking, it shuts off. When you put into gear it shut off.Turning the steering wheel while idling shuts off. Even when driving and making turns it shuts off. It always happens randomly so there no telling when it'll happen.
Does anyone know what could cause this? I took the ECM wondering if it was the source of the problem and I'm not sure if I need to replace it or not.
