Ecm delete now alt not charging

Alternator not charging a brand new battery, I did an efi system swap to a fitech 4 barrel self tuning system and in return unplugged and removed and sold my Ecm, is my alternator bad? Or was it controlled by the Ecm? 1992 rs orig 305 swapped to 350 with fitech fuel system and optima red top battery. If it has to do with the Ecm instead of changing the alt, what are my options to get it right and charging again without the Ecm? Thanks in advance

yes the wiring still exist but no Ecm and fan relay is gone because the new efi system controls the fan automatically

Re: Ecm delete now alt not charging

Isn't the alternator function independent from the ECM? I know it is on my '83...

I looked at the schematic but wouldn’t that mean I would need the Ecm back to control that relay? The schematic didn’t really help me, I’m mechanically gifted but wiring confuses me. If your trying to show me something please tell me what it is lol
otherwise. What should I do to fix this? The relay was cut out and capped off so I’m not sure what your trying to tell me to do here.
