Asked a local wire harness guy to give me a quote on installing 0411 and 4L60E into a 89 K1500. He's really pushing for the Holley unit. I know the aftermarket has come a long way in the last 5 years or so, but.....I already have everything for a 24X conversion- I'm primarily interested in the 0411 for the lean cruise (I don't think later ecu's have this capability). Also need the trans control after the 700R is replaced. Running a form of 383TPI in the truck right now. Other than being lighter by $1700 I can't think of any advantage except a cleaner harness install.
