What would happen?

I'm about to get my hands on a 1994 GMC Suburban 1500 with TBI SBC 350. I want to move as much of the drivetrain as I can into my 1984 Berlinetta. What would happen if I carried the TBI and ECM over to my Camaro?

I'd like to avoid any additional wiring, but I'm just wondering if it would affect anything if the drivetrain thinks it's a suburban rather than a Camaro.

Re: What would happen?

A: You can't perform this swap without doing additional wiring. Especially going into a 1984 car.

B: The drivetrain doesn't "know" what vehicle it is in, per say. You can run the Suburban tune without any large issues. It would be more dialed in however to use a prom from a car.

C: Speaking from experience here...the goal of cutting corners is never a good starting point or ending point for that matter.
