Engine: 305 TPI
1227169 vs 1227165

Is the 7169 ECM just for 305 carburetor cars? Can it run a TPI car? Or is the7165 the right ECM to run a 305 TPI? Do I just order the ECM and change it or do ai need to swap the prom or program anything?
