? about the SpeedPro/FAST harness

What sensors out of the factory harness are replaced with the complete harness that comes with the new ECM?

Imo you should gut the factory harness and just use the one sent with the speed pro. It really cleaned up underneath my hood. None of the factory ecm stuff is used anyways, so why spend extra for a adapter?

The only original sensors it uses are coolant temp, map, iac, air intake temp.

I agree just get rid of the factory harness. The only thing you lose is torque converter lockup and i know you have a TH400 so its no problem.

Thats what I did, and like 87zya, it made a HUGE difference in amount of wiring under the hood.

That's the plan. Problem is I don't have the stuff yet and I'm trying to get a jump on it so it's all ready to go once it shows up. Basically, I'm running blind with no instructions.

It really cleaned up underneath my hood.

I'm getting rid of all sort of crap I don't need. It's amazing how much room is under there. Time to buy that aluminum part I've been looking at and stick under there.

adapter? No adapters here.
