Swap ECM

When i swap my auto trany out for the 5speed could i just put the ECM for a 5 speed into my car in place of the auto ECM without any problems?

Im pretty sure that 92 TBI should have a prom, so that is all you would have to swap out, not the whole ECM. And yes it would be advised to swap chips because the spark curves will be off going from auto to manual.

Transmission: `95 T56 \ `88 200-4R

Unhook the Park Neutral switch connector and go w/ a 5spd PROM (ECM should be the same.
