Running good, but a couple of quirks...

Been driving it, runs great, but a couple of things at startup. When first fired up when cold, it runs rough at a low rpm, and then stalls. So you have to help it out by reving it up a little and then letting it idle. However it idles rough until it is up to operating temp. I just need to know what possible fields to look at that would deal with this.

The thing runs perfect at partial throttle, and runs 128BLMs cruizing.

The other problem is, when you get far into the throttle, whether it is just a quick snap, or slowly, it looses all function and goes into a high idle. It also will not do anything when you give it throttle. It just cuts out until you let off and will die if you do not let off. What the hell causes that? It does not stop until you pull the eprom, and put it back in??? Have not ever tied to let it sit for awhile to see if it goes away.

any help would be great. This thing is a beast, only giving it 1/4 throttle in third gear at 40 blows the tires off!!!!!!!! Just slightly cracking the throttle it explodes with torque. Can't wait to get into it!

What mask?.
Some of us are on a few different lists and even if you mentioned this before, you need to repeat the basics so we can all synch up on what's going on.

This syndrome has occured with my 730/ARFP when the chip was not correctly connected to the Memcal, or when I had a failed chip "burn". In these cases, I have assumed that it went into limp home mode, as the SES light was also on. It runs just as you report, and I would not like to have to drive it in that mode!

Perhaps the ECM is seeing something it thinks is fatal when you get into the throttle, and the chip R&R resets the error code--
