You'd get more "attention" if you made a post regarding "AT29C256 Group Purchase". I know a few guys are again looking for these. While a few had some spares (a few weeks ago).

So "repost" with a title like "AT29C256 Group Purchase" and I will just delete this post.

I hope so. Just put a post on "Any AT29C256s for sale?" and see if anyone from the last group purchase has any. If not, then you can "set up" a group for another purchase.

I bought mine from Insight Electronics and it looks like they have done a major merger. The good news, it looks like they have "offices" all over the place. Whether or not they still sell "a dozen Flash Proms to little guys" is another story.

I suggest doing a search on "Atmel AT29C256" at www.google.com and see what "pops up", and then let everyone know what's the best place to get these are. It's funny, but "who was the best" a few months ago changes really fast when it comes to electronics - sad to say.

Try Pioneer Standard Electronics.

You need a "PC" or "PI" type of at lease 150 ns.

The AT29C256 - 12PC works just fine, and it's what I use.

Have fun.
