I can get a copy of plans for a prom burner from school, what Im wondering is, I know it need a special program/drivers to make it work but will the tunercat program have all that? I see the pocket programmer has its own disk from, the advertisements, but if I can build one pretty cheap it will save me a little more cash in the long run

I can not tell you were to get a program to make the burner work, but I can tell you that tunercat is only an editor for the bin. It will not run the burner.

 

You'll likely need to program something in like qbasic to make it work.

 

where can I find qbasic? I think Ive heard of it before, but not totally for sure.

 

It came included with old dos versions, you're throwing yourself against a steep learning curve to tackle learning Q-basic just for a programer

If you already program though its by far a simple language although documentaiton might be hard to find.
