Weird Win Bin Prob.
Weird Win Bin Prob.
First i would like to say Im a new tuner and thanks to all that have helped..
I have been using both WinBin and Tuner Cat editors for
my 165 ecm but have come across a weird problem.
When i change the injector constants either single or double it show up opposite in the other tuner.
for instance if i change the "single fire constants" in WinBin
it will show up in Tuner Cat under "double fire constants"??
and vise versa.
Thanks

Well Greg im not sure if it is the fault of WinBin or not,
Im trying to use Win ME and seeing as how its cause me so many other probs that may be it. Im also having problems w/my PP
taking about 10 minutes to burn a chip and thats if it even
works usually it goes for 10 minutes and (device did not program)
What do you mean our cars run in double batch fire?
I thought it used single for normal steady throttle and double for
acceleration enrichment?
Thanks alot for the reply ,
Its nice to have a rookie question answered.

It's definitely WinBin since it doesn't match GMEPro either. It definitely sounds like a problem with Windows ME, although your chip(s) could be bad too.
Double fire (aka: batch injection) differs from single fire (aka: sequential injection) in that the injectors are fired twice per combustion cycle instead of once. A.E. uses something like asynchronous injection, but I'm not as familiar with that as Grumpy is.
