first off is there a kit or some thing i can use to burn my own chips. i have a 1988 k 2500 that has a tbi 350 in it. and wat can i use to monitor the ecm on my truck while i am going down the road. things like A/F ratio and the knock sensor and the spark curve i plan on droping a motor in my truck and i would like to get 340 hp and 400+ ft/lbs out of it so i know i will need a chip thanks guys

look at the top of the message board. It links to the introduction by traxion. It gives you a good heads up as to what to expect and what you need. I havent seen any books but then again I just got started in it too. Here is a link to the file you should read. Dont get discouraged if you get confused reading it. I will get easier when you learn the langauge.
