What next after part throttle tuning on the P730?

Well, I have gotten almost all of the attainable BLM's to within 1% of 128 (good enough for me). What should I takle next and how should I go about it? Spark tables? PE? Please give me some guidance. Thanks.

You have to work timing and fuel together.

If you have a solid baseline, then establish exactly what it is performance wise, and then try moving the WOT fuel and timing around. If you start seeing knock retard then note where and remove some timing in those spots.

Remember, you want to run the least amount of timing consistant with best performance.

NOT
The greatest amount of timing possible.

They are two very different concepts.

I too have the blm's right at 128. Now, time to adjust the timming tables then make the blm's 128 after the changes. So what is a good timming table to start with for the $8definition file in TC? ARAP is a $6 so is the AUJP bin similar? Also, once i get a timming table to work with, should i decrease the timming table? or should i increase it till i get some knock counts, then back it off? Thanks for the help!!!!!

Thanks Grumpy. I do have a quick question about knock retard. It's taking about 7* out around 4000 RPM under WOT. Can I simply subtract the 7.0 from the total timing in the appropriate cell? or do I need to take it out in small increments untill it disappears? Thanks again.

I'd take out a couple degrees of advance at a time. When the computer takes out timing to control knock, it has to take out a good bit more than necessary in order to snuff it out since it's harder to put out once it's started.
