Need stock bin & are some stock bins better than others?
Trying to locate a stock bin for '89 305 TBI w/ automatic. The stock PROM has ANTT 8026 stamped on it. I searched the recommended sites, but haven't located anything w/ this designation. Would like to locate the PROM bin and the Winbin ECM file.
Also, since the factory ECM PROMs are very much like the firmware of a computer or other types of industrial electronics, I imagine changes occur over the years, maybe even within a production run. Are there specific stock PROM bins that are known to work better for particular engine/fi/trans configuration? If so, are they listed anywhere?
Thanks for the help & info.

Yeah, my website is down. I had a bunch of 8746 ecm bin files on it with discriptions but you can get the bin from diy-efi.org
Click here for the directory where the ANTT bin is!
There are a lot of other bins for the 8746 but the only differences is: California emissions, Fed emissions, auto, manual, 305 and 350. There were no 350's and manuals and there are a few variations but they are all pretty much the same. So there are really only 6 different eproms, let me know which one you need.
The ANLU is for an auto with a 350 and in a caprice with the LO5, the ANTT was the standard auto 305 LO3 eprom. Start with them, don't even waist time looking at the others unless you've got time to burn/waste

I see the ANTT file w/o an extension, and assume that's the bin file. Is there a compatible Winbin ECU file available for this chip or 1228746 ECM on this site?
I definitely need the bin & ECU files for an auto 305 L03.
Thanks JPrevost! Really appreciate the help.

I don't have an ECU file yet but I believe Pablo has a start of it. With the hack file we (you and me) could probably put together a really complete ECU file. I'm just finishing up my TunerCat tdf file editing. It's gotten REALLY big
. I can turn off all the self tests and diagnostics (if needed) and change a crap load of tables and constants. Even do some slight source code changes for stuff like changing the ALDL output variables. I wish I had the source code to WinAldl, then I could do some really cool stuff like built in realtime wire-frame graphs of stuff like the o2, BLM, INT, and volts. Yes, I said volts, and wanna know why....because I've got the software setup to display the table "voltage compensation vs battery voltage (at fuel pump relay) for BPW calculation".
I understand why Jonas (Joby) doesn't want to share any source code but I can still be sad
. I would LOVE to see his software be able to interface with the edge card on the side of the ecm but I can't find enough information regarding the edge card specifics, again,
. Oh well, lots of progress and that's what counts.
