MAF burn-off disable

I recently replaced my BOSCHE MAF sensor with the WELLS SU-185 unit and have been experiencing an intermittant code 36 (MAF burn-off fault). With the BOSCHE unit, the code 36 does not occur, so this tells me that the relay is okay (replaced already last year).

I realize that the WELLS MAF unit does not need this burn-off function.

Anybody know of an easy way to disable the burn-off through WinBIN using 6E?

Thanks.

The person to talk to would be Vader. He is mainly on the General/Tech Board and TPI board.

Maybe post it there or send him an email if you don't get info here.

good luck
