I recently purchased an AKM cable to use with the Craig Moates software. At first I couldn't get the scan software to come up. I tried everything I could find on the net for tips. I contacted Andrew from AKM, and he went out of his way to help me get everything running. This was on a weekend, I called his number, and interupted him at home(sorry again Andrew), but he was not upset, and went thru everything with me and we got it to work. Just wanted to publiclly thank him for everything he did. Cant say enough good words.

What was the problem why you couldn't connect?

 

I bet it was the need for a resistor, just like me when i was trying to hook up to my friends 165.........

 

I thought it was the resistor at first, but his cables have it soldered in from him if you order it for a 165. Turns out, after he tried a bunch of stuff, that I have to shut my comp down and make it come up in dos. This has been working great.
