Why does sd seem to backfire alot when something is wrong?I have had a bad plug and never got a pop w/ maf.I have repaired alot of map cars with backfires.I have never had the maf system backfire on me.

MAP is far quicker to "react" than MAF. Thus, if you calibration is "off", MAP will show it up quicker.
Too much fuel and/or too much timing are a usual cause.

Sometime this week i am making the switch to SD (730)due to a broken MAF and am a little scared knowing the SD is not very forgiving.
You said before you were working on something to get people close depending on setup,any advice to give a guy me?
