When I did my TPI swap, I did everything complete (emissions and wiring) from an 86 IROC. Pin M in the ALDL was not mentioned or referenced anywhere in the Helms wiring diagrams. Everything I've seen so far says that 88 or 89 has pin M connected to E in the ALDL.

But also, isn't the 89 PROM code necessary for the 8192? ECM is capable, but needs the code... yes?
