Ok anyways

I've made a hybrid (muwhaha) aujn timing with arap fuel and I just had a epiphany as to why I have a rich idle. Could this be that the ARAPs "extravagant" fuel tables mated with the AUJNs "conservative" timing lowered the idle timing so much that I'm not getting a complete enough burn thus a "false" rich idle so to speak?

The idle corrects itself enough to be of little concern in closed loop, but in open loop its just to rich.

I would guess that is the case. Late timing will put extra unburned fuel in the exhaust, making the comp think its rich, when its just late timing. Try to advance timing in the tables, but just at idle conditions, this should help.

That will be tonights task then. Assuming I get that nailed I'd recommend this bin to anybody as a sollution for the ARAP.

I did the same thing, but ended up with a lean idle.

Did playing with low LV8 timing fix that for you?

No, I fixed that with the batt voltage corrections.
