Any info about my hypertech chip?

Can anyone give me any information on the prom in my car. Here's the info: Hypertech (C) '88 SN# 13 8153 PT# 121 342

Waste of money. I have looked at a few Hyperjunk and typically they add a few more degrees of spark advance in the mid RPM range with a little extra fuel. If its for an automatic, they will lock the convertor a couple of MPH higher.

Does virtually nothing for performance and could even hurt performance if you engine is already running rich or if you are encounting "knock retard".

If you want to know the EXACT differences, get a Eprom Burner (they can read) and do a "binary compare" to the stock eprom. Then you'll know everything different. But don't get your hopes up.
