Non F-body, '98 S-10 PROM burning

A friend of mine has a 1998 Chevy S-10, and he'd like to get into PROM burning. I checked a few of the archived messages over at GM_ECM but I haven't found anything in the way of this. What would be involved with doing this to a late-model truck with OBD-II?

Thanks guys, I know you'll be able to help me out.

There is not too much for any OBD II systems (yet), and what is (mostly LT1 and possibly LS1 now) is VERY EXPENSIVE and works on only 1 vehicle (VIN# limited).

So it's going to be sometime I predict before "affordable" editting software like TunerCat is available. But it will happen, probably sooner than I would predict but probably not fast enough for many.
