7165 and rom

7165 and rom

i dont see a rom chip on the 7165 board so is it safe to assume that all the data is stored in the chip?? or is some of it embeeded into the proc?

Transmission: aftermarket T56

Axle/Gears: Moser 12 bolt 3.08 gears

It would be to costly for GM to have motarola embed car specific data into a microprocessor.
