Maf to Map Convertion

i was reading in this forum and i found about the maf to map convertion using the 808 bin i have just a few questions

1. wil my stock ecm work i have a 1227168?
2. will my stock prom work?

if not does anyone have any info on what does work i have decided that i can stand the maf anymore i have had 2 kill on me and there perty pricy.... i have the prom burner and all the needed tools to do the job but i ant find a pinout on the 168 and the 808 ecm to do the pin swaps

and for my last question
3 if you fillow the a b c d on the back of the connectors will that work?
please help me out im in distress

1. No, you need a 1227165
2. No, it will need reorograming.
3. The info is out there, try the DIY-EFI.Org site.

Had to tell on just one letter, but you might be gettin in a lil deep here. It's not a 1-2 day project by any means.

first i would like to tank grunpy for the input it was geartly apriciated and as for searching the diy-efi incoming i have done that and was un secsessful on finding the pinouts i needi did try the link that were on the old poast about all this and the seem to no longer be active
