It does not work! All my e-mail has been rejected. I have been inquiring about my order placed on 8-6-02 for a second PP2. I hav't heard a word from them and calling just gets an answering machine.

 

I tried e-mailing Xtronics about a month ago and my e-mail was rejected too. But I believe it is because my ISP is "banned" by their ISP because Shaw Cable (largest Cable Modem ISP in Western Canada) has "spammers" so a lot of American ISPs "ban" Shaw as a method of controlling spam (instead of contacting Shaw to remove the offenders). I have had about 4 people that I send e-mail too, that their ISP started "banning" Shaw.

Do others also have this problem too? Maybe it's must John's and my ISPs...or there are other problems (like bankruptcy).

I would say that sometimes "smaller companies" shutdown for summer vacation, so I wouldn't let the "answering maching only" scare me (yet). But if this issue is outstandings as of September 2002, then maybe we have a problem with Xtronics.

The good news John, is that if you paid by Visa, you'll get the charge reversed if Xtronics never mails the unit to you. This is why I ONLY do credit card transactions for Internet purchases. I've been "burned" a couple of times, and everytime, Visa reversed the charge if I didn't receive the product.

I live in Lawrence where they are based and I will bug them starting the 16th when they get back.

 

What do you mean when they get back?! Where did they go?

 

They have a notice on their website that says they won't return until aug 15..

 

Guess that 'splains that, huh?

I ordered one last weekend, didnt see that they were going to be gone, but I got an email on the 15th from them when I asked them for my tracking #, also guess that explains why it was shipped on the 15th instead of on that monday after I ordered it
