PROMs and nitrous dilemma

What the heck do you do when you have a custom prom already, but now you want to use nitrous? Do you have to go back and take out timing advance? Add more fuel even though the motor doesn't like it when running w/out nitrous?

Is there any easy way to switch from one prom to another at the flip of a switch? I think Jet makes a thing like that, but with crappy off-the-shelf proms of course.

Thanks everyone.

Such a good question..

I've been learning myself how to use the ECM to manage under boost or nitrous situations.. Its hard.

Currently I'm running a BTM, and a FMU.. That should get you buy. Expencive though.

I address that issue in AE (with regards to fuel) and spark at wot
vs coolant or load/rpm(I think, not at tuner for proper wordage.

moates sells a switching set up where you can store 8 or 16 different bins on one chip, and with the switch on the dash you can change really easy!:hail:

I just checked it out. ONLY $75. It would be great for: Nitrous, High octane fuel, Low octane fuel, Economical setting, maybe even high temps and low temps.

How do you switch it though? Do you just turn that little dial?
