SAE method of testing o2 sensor

Hey,

This is not a "how do I know if my O2 sensor works", this is a does anyone know the SAE approved way of checking an O2 sensor's reliability? And I know the single wires arn't very good in general.

I dont wanna keep buying one every 3 days cuz I think I riched out too much and its not reading right anymore. I've run into a tuning roadblock (I KNOW its rich, but O2 is low low) and dont wanna deal with this too long.

Are the 3 wire Mustang O2 sensors worth anything?
