383 and 165ecm

I getting a 383 built and was wondering after reading some posts if its going to be a nightmare to tune with the 165ecm or should I swap to SD?Will 24lbs injectors be hitting 100% duty cycle or do I need 30lbs? The motor will have 10.3 cr,trickflow heads,GM hotcam (maybe a comp 306)and the stealth ram.

No, it' s not too difficult to tune; however, it will take a little patience.

I have a question for you right now I have my 24lbs injectors set at 23.5 to get the blms at 128 on my old 350. How much lower should I drop them to for the 383? I dont want it going lean on the first start up.

When you fire your new engine up, make sure that you are not running rich. Keep your conditions on the leaner side if anything (not too lean though!). As you know i'm sure, a new motor with a rich condition will result in improper sealing of piston rings.
Got to go.
