No, a resistor needs to be in place to set MAF cars into diagnostic mode. My MAF cable works with SD systems tho.
So I can just use this resistor and my cable will work? What is the value of this resistor and what pins do I need to jump?
FYI: I have the $65 cable from Steve Ruse

thanks

A 10k resistor need to be put between A and B on the ALDL, you could prob put it behind the ALDL so it won't interfere with the cable, but don't leave it in, I noticed my car wanted to stall if I left my cable plugged in.
