Here's my data.....what do you think????

Well, my new engine setup is in (listed below in sig). The only thing I have changed so far in my chip is the lower VE table. The upper I think may have been changed before by a PROM burning place. Before you guys told me to take some readings with a laptop, and then show it to you so I could get an idea of what to do.

This is the file (please note that you will have to copy and paste the url into the address bar because of geocities): http://www.geocities.com/camarox84/wotrun.zip

So if someone could look at this file and let me know anything I should do, or if you have any comments it would be GREATLY appreciated. I have no idea where to even start. This file is .CSV format (Microsoft Excel can read it). It is a short WOT run, and the data was taken using the Moates software. Again, ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I just need to know where to begin. Thanks in advance.

Damn. Seeing that makes me feel better about my tune You have a sh*tload of knock retard. Up to 5 degrees! I know you don't know much but here's your first lesson, that Knock retard column...you don't want to see anything in there.

I don't have a clue as to why you would have so much knock retard. It was still pulling timing out even after you took your foot out of the throttle. Could be your exhaust rattling around but that's alot of rattling going on to cause that much knock retard.

I'm guessing it's because the spark curve is probably stock. Should I pull some of the advance up high? What about the fuel? Does it look okay as to rich/lean for best performance? Any more suggestions? What do I want to look for? Thanks again.

Your IAC's are way high...should be between 20 to 40 counts at idle. Looks like your running pretty rich so you have a few more ponies to saddle...don't lean out too aggresive...take a little out at a time. Way too many knocks....back off overall timing by a few degrees....Are your spark plugs too hot? What are you using? Overall engine temp could be dropped some too. Your idle a/f seems fine but at 1800 rpms your sure max out your o2 reading.

Cheers,
Frank

So you think I'm rich everywhere, even in the upper RPM area?? Also, which table to I pull timing from?? There is like a million different spark advance tables. I know I need to do a lot of trial and error to get a perfect chip, but I still don't know what to change when I see certain things. Thanks again.
