87,
You will love it. You got the display too, right? Remember what mine looked like?
It definately makes life easier. They also have logging software available now for the other rs232 port.
Keep me posted if you have any ?s

Yeah I got the display also,
Just have one question though.
Will an exhaust leak or crankcase evacuator before the o2
cause a wrong reading?

I have often thought of that before too. I think it most definately would. Due to the fact your gonna be introducing another oxygen source. ultimately this would be preceived as unused oxygen.
I would try to locate the o2 before the before mentioned items to be on the same side.
Good luck

So nice seeing you guys support piracy.
If you want a DIY-WB, the legit DIY one is WWW.DIY-WB.COM
There is no excuse to support piracy.

Well here is the way I see it..
If you in fact have a ligitimate claim that DIY_OZ has committed an act of piracy against you, then take him to court.
For the rest of us, its really of no concern, so don't attack us for purchasing something!
We are all trying to do the best with what we have and can afford.
I come here to learn and to help others. Not to criticise others for ideas that don't agree with mine.
So take your claims elsewhere.
Synapsis,
To answer your question 87 and I purchased ours at:
http://www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/default.htm
It cost around $320 US and then you have to get the sensor for another 150. Comes to about 500 beans total.
Let me know if you need anything.

i'm also thinking of ordering one,but i remembered that there were many hard feelings over this project.i personally dont want to support anyone who would steal others hard work and claim it as their own,BUT as a finished product it looks hard to beat.and i dont see myself ever spending the time to assemble a unit.and if i did there is no gaurentee that it would work properly.personally i'd rather pay someone to get a good finished project and save my dyi time for somthing i actually enjoy--the tuning. besides the usa was made on capitalism and to think that people will look the other way when there is money to be made is foolish at best.personally i'd like to see the design team market their dyi wb and see what a little compitition would bring.

Its not about competition, its about stealing anothers work and selling it for profit. All the research, blood, sweat, and I'm sure tears of the guys from the Diy-Efi list that put the DIY-WB-O2 together, have not profited from their work, and that was the agreement from the start. Peter...from Oz took that work and set up shop selling "his" pirated O2. Now I am not privy to all this story but feel free to use some of your free time saved by ordering one of his O2's instead of learning and building the "legit" Diy-O2 to read the www.diy-efi.org archives for the facts surrounding Peter's piracy. cheers, Bob
thanks but i was already privvy to the entire debate the thing cluttered my e-mail for months and waisted more of my time than you can imagine.NOW i in no way condone stealing others work .but think it very foolish to beleave that you can expect everyone out there to assemble a kit when there is one offered for sale.some people actually feel that time is money and have to balance what projects they take on. that being said there is nothing keeping the origional wb-02 designers from marketing their product and putting the aussies out ob business.as it should be easy to undercut them and keep the money in the usa.as most people would hopefully buy usa given the option. id even pay more just to keep the money here. but the entire assemble it yourself or you are not a good dyi'er dosent cut it. and yes i could easly assemble one myself but i most likely wont.most likely wont order one either but wouldent condem someone who does

Anyone looking for a pre-built WB unit would be MUCH better off purchasing one from FJO.

What flame?.
You like supporting thiefs, that's fine, just be honest about it, denile doesn't change it.
Try thinking about stolen car parts, buy enough of them. just don't be surprised when your car is stolen.
