Is this Programmer Good?

I'm planning on starting to burn my on chips and would like to know the things I need.

It doesn't look like it does the 29 series of flash chips being used around here...

Yes, that is a very good programmer (I own one) and yes, it will do the 29 series chips (flash EEPROMS). Use it with my 29C040 chip.

Couple things to mention about that programmer. It doesn't come with the powersupply and it is a center NEAGTIVE connector. Most of the other programmers out there are center positive. It will need a 9-12VDC 800ma center negative P/S.
