I'm new to ecu programming and am starting to get the hang of the software and tools availalbe.

However the trick is knowing which memory adress contains which part of which map

This is not easy - especially when you are new to the process.


Is there any software that is suited to finding the correct memory locations for the ford eeciv / weber marelli ecu

Failing that - I need to get an emulator that allows me to see which parts of the memory are accessed whilst the car is running, to help me to work out what is what.

i've looked at the romulator - but its a write only device (not bad value though !!)

I'd appreciate any feedback experience you guys could offer.
