Can not get autoprom to datalog!
I have the autoprom and am using tuner pro RT v5. I have a 92 camaro 3.1L automatic. I can connect through real time emulation... I can burn a chip... I can't datalog. I have tried many different adx files. I've attempted to use your $88 ads file on your site converted to adx file. I have attempted to add a "listen for silence" command and change the timeout from 0-10000. I continue to get the blue connected with a flashing DA: connection error. I can connect when I have it in the non-passthrough mode and the hz bounce around but it doesn't seem to be receiving any data. I have searched endlessly through thirdgen and gearhead efi with no improvement. Was wondering if anyone can offer any assistance.

Re: Can not get autoprom to datalog!
Try to make it connect in "pass-through" mode as a standard cable.
If it won't do that then it will never work in AP mode.
Emulating uses the pin header cable directly to the chip adapter in the ECM, data comes from the ALDL pin. Are you sure there is a good connection at the ALDL pin? E or M (unsure on that year)
There must be something there causing it.
Could be the cable has a problem (do ohm check pin to pin to see if connections are broken)
HTH
Use a serial port "sniffer" to see if data is actually coming in from the ECM.
That would indicate the ADX file is the problem, not the hardware.
Once you know if its HW or SW you'll know what to go after to fix it.

Re: Can not get autoprom to datalog!
I know this may sound basic but just incase
you need to tell go into tuner pro
tools / data/emulation tab and change it to autoprom
I had the same issue when I 1st got the autoprom then its a matter of putting the switches on the unit to the correct spots
