Equipment question

Hey everyone, you guys have me inspired. I'm gonna go out and start learning how to do this PROM burning stuff, but now I gotta go out and get my equipment. I'm planning on picking up a laptop to do all my tuning, scanning and burning on. I'm planning on using Diacom scan software and Tunercat's editor. I tried looking at their sites but Diacom has a very vague dexcription of system requirements at best and Tunercat has no system requirements at all. I'm looking at getting a P166Mhz laptop for the job now with about 40MB of ram. Will this laptop be able to run the above mentioned software correctly? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it will. I was using a P133 with Win98 for awhile before I inherited by current P233.

Thanks a lot guys. This definitely is a lot more cost effective and fun to do. Now, on to the research...
