Vats

Yes I already searched............. If these questions have already been answered, please direct me there.

What is the logic in the programming for the VATS?

I want to know this because I am burning a new PROM and would like to keep the VATS. Is this possible?

I am starting with a 91 corvette bin as a base point . Can I just copy the the tables I want and paste them on to the stock bin without a problem, therefore not affecting the VATS function? (this is what I think is the way)

i wouldnt actually use a corvette bin as it has a different wiring scheme. i would use the timing and fuel tables and that about it. as for copy and paste them onto you rexisting bin that fine and it wont affect vats or at least it shouldnt. as i siad use the stock bin you have and modify the tables. the corevette bin is a good bit different and to use it you would have to change alot of wiring on the car.

Funstick,

Are you off your rocker? The ecm reads the PROM the same. Info comes from the same spot. I could use the Corvette bin without changing any wiring, just need to change the oil temp circuit of.
