wide band 02 does the car need to be under load
wide band 02 does the car need to be under load
I tried the wide band o2 sensor on the car for the first time tonight.
The o2 sensor was clamped in the exhaust. Afr was 12/1
When I stomp on the throttle to quickly the DVM resets itself. would it be better to do some actual pulls on the road instead of just sitting in the driveway?
What is an Ideal AFR?
Thanks

12:1 is not unusual for a car that has been recently started. It would still be in either open loop and/or cold start enrichment (choke).
It sounds like the DVM is auto-ranging. Can you lock the range?
