WOT and not going into Closed Loop?

Took the car out for a test run with my laptop to see what kind of a time I would get in the 0-60 with the moates software.

I got a time 7.1 which I think is pretty good for a 305TPI with headers and air foil and CAI.

But thing I noticed was that during the run my throttle angle was in the 80's 90's and the car did not go into open loop it stayed in closed loop.

I am running a stock 1992 Chip in my 86 Speed Density IROC. I read that once the throttle angle goes above a certain value that the car should go into open loop. But mine stayed in closed loop and the BLM's where around the 150 mark. If the car did go into open loop my BLM's should have gone to 128 and Closed loop status should have shown 0 on the Moates software.

Anyone have any ideas what's up with that?

I have to seriously get my BLM's down to aroudn the 128 cause they are around the 150 mark and I think it might also be taking away from my performance???

Scan tools usually report open/closed loop as well as learn control on/off.

After you first go into closed loop, a WOT run usually isn't going to show up as open loop, but will rather show up as learn control disabled.
