Weird source code ford vs. gm question
Weird source code ford vs. gm question
Okay, first off, thanks to anyone who replies.
Now, I saw some neat Ford gauges for cheap. I am trying to take into account what would be necessary to install them into a thirdgen. The speedo shouldn't be a problem--convert w/ a box. The tach is what is slowing me up. The tach has a digital panel that shows time and temp (possibly direction, I can't remember). I was lead to believe that some of the tach fxn maybe computer driven. In order to carry this fxning over to the thirdgen, would one *only* have to copy the related source code from the ford computer and write it into a prom for the thirdgen? Or, are ford computers set up differently and is this just a total waste of time?
Thanks,
MILT
