i need to know what set up to buy to burn proms? i have a 1989 gta, what will it cost ? what exactly will i need? any info would be appreciated thanks.

You will need - pocket programmer or compatable $150
moates adapter with at29c256 chips $50
Moates scanware free

can i use the futurlec programer its only $80.00 and then buy the other stuff? whare do i get the chips? and does the whole calpac come with it or just a chip? do i take the computer out of the car and hook it to my home pc? cause i dont have a lap top.

 

Read the article on beginning prom burning in the tech article section a few times and go through the links. You will not understand it all at first but it will help you immensly.

I have yet to burn my first chip but have been doing much reading in here!!!STILL LEARNING!!!!!
