Can the stock computer support 850hp.
I was wondering if the 7730 could support a blown 850hp engine. If so with what injectors. I will be doing a 396 or 427 with a D1. I have the top end to support the flow needs. I just need to know if I will have to move up to low impeedance injectors and after marked management. I know some of you are running boosted applications. Any imput would be appreciated.
The '730 doesn't appear to know how to read 2 or 3-bar MAP sensor output anyway, not a good choice for the application you describe.
As for the injectors, low-impedance ones are a bad idea w/ the '730 and '749 as delivered.

The major difference between the 730 and 749 is the addition of a second injector driver in the 749. This change allowed the 7749 to run 4 P/H injectors in the Turbo Sunbird.
The SyTy crowd have upgraded the injector driver FET's and 72 lb P/H injectors and repin the harness to Turbo Sunbird specs to use the second driver circuit. You should look into the SyTy crowd for more detailed info, but yes, a modified 7749 will work.
