AE and Idle fuel with MAF and HSR?
I got the mods in my sig. I need help on where to go with my chip. I have access to a scanner. I have a burner and tunercat. Right now I am running 30lb SVO injectors and the ARAP code with stock timming table. I have a bog off the line and massive spark knock at 2K. Help??
MY guess is you are lean at idle with the screen out of MAF,
Lower inj. constants maybe 1lb (im guessing they are at 30 now?)
Maybe go like 28.5 and that may get rid of both.
When you say bog,is it backfiring or popping through intake?
If so thats cause you are lean ,that as well will cause the knock.
You need a pemenant scan tool if you want to tune correctly,or are you ok with a livable tune?

Whip out your scanner and grab some data. Make sure you have the injector constant set to *accurately* reflect the SVO injector's flow rate.
For an off-line bog/stumble, watch the O2 sensor (in closed loop mode @ operating temp) to see if it bottoms out when you tip in the gas. I had good results using the AE vs. change in LV8 table to correct this, it functions like the accelerator pump shot in carb-land.
If your spark knock is at part-throttle, time to adjust the main spark table. If the knock only happens @ WOT, hit the PE Spark Advance table and crank it down as needed.

Hey, I had similar problems before I converted to SD. Currently I've had to jack the fuel pressure way up. But when I had the MAF I ended up messing with the 1st MAF table to lean the idle out. I never could get the car running as well as I wanted, so I switched to SD. Never had any problem with it spark knocking though.
Like I said ,If he has screens removed then its probably a lean condition,If your not an experienced tuner then as a Good fix, lower inj. constants 1, 1.5 this will give you more AE and fuel all around probably helping the Knock prob. also.
Once you get some time under your belt and that scan tool you will want to rescale the lower portion of the 1st MAF table .
