Getting back lost torque after TPI to LT1 Intake
Getting back lost torque after TPI to LT1 Intake
What sort of changes need to be made to the prom (730 ECM) to get back some of the lost torque after converting to the LT1 intake? Some have said it is not true that the LT1 intake robs low end torque compared to the TPI setup. I can testify that there is a noticable loss in low end torque. I've got my VE tables very close and I've played with the spark advance a little (up to a few degrees advanced). Any recommendations from here?

You probably dropped a little in mechanical VE at the lower speeds so you might try taking a little fuel out, and then taking out a little timing.
