Cell boundries?

If i change the cell boudries would that cause any long term problems with the engine?

Example:

My car spends most time in cell #6 and that cell shows 128 BLM. Now, car also spends some time in othre cells but not as much as in cell 6.

If i extend the boundry of cell 6 to cover most RPM's and GPS, would that have a negative effect on the engine?

Thanks.

Dan, I've always tried to modify my BLM thresholds to allow my engine to operate in as many cells as possible in normal driving conditions.

In a word so long as you don't peg the BLs, then No.

If you really want to get the best out of the system, it would seem that you'd want to use as many as possible. To better optimise the AFR control thru out the operating range of the car.

So i guess i better put it back to stock values for the boundries and play the trial and error game all over again.
