I didn't think any variations of winbin were useful for reading or burning proms.

I am using X-Tronics software that came with the pocket programmer II. I do not know what software works with the Bytek programmer, but that's what you need.

With an 85, you may want to spend your time thinking about converting to an 86-89 ECM, or even 90-92. Much smarter ECM; more resources for prom burning for them.

Good luck.

Sorry to tell you this but Bytek no longer sells or supports their Multiprogrammer. A Google Search on Bytek+Multiprogrammer shows a LOT of people trying to find owner's manuals and software to use it - but none to be found.

http://www.planetkc.com/joleo/ebay/bytek.htm is a link to one person's problem

http://www.industrycommunity.com/ee/...sages/209.html is another "satisfied Bytek Owner".

Good luck.
