R_T Tuning
Spent some quality time with the Tunercat R_T program and Romulator this morning.
With a WB, and just some free time to tinker was able to finalise some drivibility stuff.
In 4+ hours of driving and tweaking, not a hiccup.
Got done, burnt chip, wrote notes, and done for the day.
Just for giggles did some idle changes at idle with the engine running, and all I could feel was the change as it happened.
And I was able to quick and easily find out where the limits where reached in which table so as not to have to guess where they were. Kinda eased the load on data logging, by being able to drive with a cell real rich, was able to see if I even touched against it.

IF you want to run a sanity check on R_T.
Then load the file form R_T into your Pocket Programmer, and then plug the Romulator into the PP.
Then hit verify devise.
You should see the checksum check byte change to AA, ie the MASK ID.

There's been another update to the Romulator software, so a email to George or Karl will get you the latest.
If for some reason you have a problem with R_T and the Romulator you just might save the .bin file you had loaded, and compare that to what it should have been. In that way it just might help TC or Xtronics find a fault, assuming things were OK on your end.

Killing myself on my cars mechanically.............havent had a chance to get the R/T and Romulaotr fully installed on the laptop with enuff juice to handle it all.............planning on trying t'row(have to load pkzip on cd and install on other machine) so i know i have a functioning version direct from TC installed........
Emailing them t-nite so i can have the latest revision to install and verify that it all works....
Grumpy, I think u can tune a car faster than i can install this damned software/hardware bs............why cant it be simple for us retarded computer users :-(
