PROM for Vette (new at this)
What's up guys... I'm new on here. From what I see I like more than the Corvette site.
I bought TunerCat today. I am starting up this PROM burning thing. So you'll see me on here quite a bit now. Got a few Q's for you expert guys.
1- I bought the Definition file for my 730ECM, but how do i actually load it or what?? I open tunercat and it just stares back.. not much is operable. How do i start this crap up?? I already read the HOW TO on here also
I'm just anxious to get burning.... i know i need a UV eraser... and Pocket programmer.. waiting on my next pay day. any input here will be appreciated. thanks!

ok, TunerCat emailed me with the definition file and i just put it in my directory... Now, from the ECM on the tool bar i can select 8D. That's what they said is supposed to happen. ?right? so now i have 42 and 8D listed from "ECM" in the tool bar. seems to have worked, but it still stares at me.
Now you need to open a copy of a $8D bin file, either downloaded from diy-efi.org or copied off your current PROM. Then you select which table you want to view/edit. After that, you'll start seeing numbers.
