PROM for Vette (new at this)

What's up guys... I'm new on here. From what I see I like more than the Corvette site. I bought TunerCat today. I am starting up this PROM burning thing. So you'll see me on here quite a bit now. Got a few Q's for you expert guys.
1- I bought the Definition file for my 730ECM, but how do i actually load it or what?? I open tunercat and it just stares back.. not much is operable. How do i start this crap up?? I already read the HOW TO on here also I'm just anxious to get burning.... i know i need a UV eraser... and Pocket programmer.. waiting on my next pay day. any input here will be appreciated. thanks!

You will need an 8D Bin file to open in TC or pretty much all you will be able to do is stare at it.

ok, TunerCat emailed me with the definition file and i just put it in my directory... Now, from the ECM on the tool bar i can select 8D. That's what they said is supposed to happen. ?right? so now i have 42 and 8D listed from "ECM" in the tool bar. seems to have worked, but it still stares at me.

Now you need to open a copy of a $8D bin file, either downloaded from diy-efi.org or copied off your current PROM. Then you select which table you want to view/edit. After that, you'll start seeing numbers.
