Fans never commanded on in '165

I'm having a weird problem, and I've just noticed it now that the weather has been getting hotter lately.

I'm using the 165 ecm, 6E mask.

I'm using a stock AUJM bin as the base bin, with the following changes:

EGR disable temp moved up to 255. My EGR solenoid isn't working right now, but I hope that is a separate problem.

Battery voltage correction changed slightly to get closer to 128.

Fan on temperatures lowered.

My fan isn't coming on at the temperature it's set at. I'm wondering if there are any other conditions that need to be met. Previously, when my coolant temp reached 195, it would come on, and turn off at 190. Now, it doesn't come on, and the ECM doesn't command it to.

I verified that the fan comes on my pulling the PROM and going into limp home mode. It also turns it on when I jump the A&B terminals,

I set the turn on temp to 120*F, which it should reach after a couple minutes of idling, but no luck. I did see the ECM turn the fan on once when I started the car when it was warm, but haven't been able to reproduce it. Any ideas?

Take a known good bin and reset the fan temp (but not ridiculously low either). Your bin (or prom) may be bad.

Also, turn on your A/C, it should command it on in 45 seconds.

You could even just reburn the stock .bin too to see if they come on at normal temps before lowering anything to ensure that it's not your program/PC screwing something up.

That would work if I had A/C.

But I'll try going back to my stock bin, although I don't like it getting up to 225*.

You could also check or uncheck the "NO" (normally open) flag and turn your fans on with the key. Then you would know if the burns are working or not...

My '86 single fan runs normal with the "NO" box unchecked, turns the fans on with the key when it's checked.
