PT accel and WOT accel problem/8746 ecm
I have read through the archives and besides from being confused I haven't been able to solve this problem. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
If I accelerate at WOT I am fine to 5,000 rpm and then the engine loses power. If I let up on the throttle, it starts pullin again to 6,000 rpm.
If I do an agressive PT accel but not quite wot, the engine pulls consistent and strong to 6,000 rpm.
I have Increasesd and decreased AFR's in PE above 4,800 rpm with no change while knock counts stay at about 3-4.
I have added and subtracted fuel from table 2 above 4,800 rpm also with the same results as above. I haven't touched anything below 4,800 rpm cause it runs fine there and my BL's are mostly in the 128/130 range.
Any suggestions on better ways to pursue this? I am just peeing in the wind now. thanks very much...............bob

I would have to say check fuel pressure, Either get a test kit, or tee into the line and run plastic tubing to a gauge, then stick it under your wiper. Also you could have an injector thats on its way out.
