whats the slowest laptop that will still run with moates scanning software(ecm852 i think its called that) will a 486 running at 80 mhz work with 8 megs of ram? and for a 730 ecm do i need a 2 transistor cable or will the one version work for me, thanx for the help

 

If you boot to DOS, I think the 486 would work (I'd see about doubling the RAM if possible) You need the 2 transistor cable to work with Craig's software, the single trans cable is for WINALDL software.

 

I am running a 486 with 12megs of ram. Although I dont know off hand what the mhz rating is.
